Photographic Artist and Art Educator
My Work
I am an artist working primarily in photography since 2003. The work presented here has been shot with various iPhones, currently an 11Pro. I like having a camera with me at all times, and the iPhone allows me to shoot with relative ease. Recently I have been experimenting using Procreate on an IPad. I edit primarily with Snapseed and often work back and forth between the two apps.
I don’t consider any of this to be my serious work. It’s what I do for fun. My serious work is all on film and printed in the darkroom. Those galleries will be forthcoming.
Biography
I have been teaching art for 30 years at a suburban Maryland high school. I became obsessed with learning everything I could about the photographic process. This obsession transformed my teaching career and my own artistic process.
